Perfect Date Night Spots

If you’re trying to impress on a first date or are already in a solidified relationship, there is still one question that can boggle even the most creative of individuals – what do we do for date night? With so many “5 star” celebrity chef restaurants on the strip, it can be extremely simple to take the easy way out and opt for any of the many eateries advertised up and down Las Vegas Blvd. Luckily for you, we’ve put together a short list of some awesome local date night spots that are sure to impress and make you look like the cool, cultured, sophisticated local you are. You can thank us later…

Vintner Grill

Vintner Grill is one of the most award-winning local eateries in Vegas. Everyone eats here. From celebrity chefs to Vegas socialites and politicians, you’re sure to see someone influential dining or mingling at the bar. Vintner serves up classic American-Chic cuisine. Enjoy one of their famous wood-fired grilled flatbreads or their cheese and charcuterie selections where you can mix and match your own creations. Vintner  has one of the most extensive wine programs on or off the strip, but don’t be intimidated. They have boutique, hard to find wines as well as a selection of “50 under 50.” Enjoy a beautiful evening in their sleek main room or a romantic dinner on their patio under the stars in one of the many white cabanas.  10100 W. The Barrymore

The Barrymore serves up American-Classic cuisine in a swanky, retro space that feels like something out of a classic movie. The Barrymore menu features an array of signature items as well as a continual rotation of new selections made from seasonal ingredients to complement the weather. They have an extensive wine list with 50 selections for under $50. They also have some of the best hand-crafted cocktails the city has to offer. If you haven’t been to The Barrymore, drop your plans for the night and head over. This place will seal the deal. 99 Convention Center Drive 702.407.5303

Marché Bacchus

Let me introduce you to one of Las Vegas’ best kept secrets… Marché Bacchus at The Lakes in Summerlin. This place is a hidden European oasis sitting right on the water. You won’t even feel like you are in Las Vegas. Marché Bacchus, as you could guess, specializes in both traditional and contemporary French cuisine. Marché Bacchus has something for everyone including a variety of meat and seafood dishes, as well as vegetarian, and gluten-free items. Sit on the patio and take in the breathtaking view of the water, open a few bottles of wine, and enjoy an amazing meal. 2620 Regatta Drive, Suite #106 702.804.8008

Mundo, hands down, serves up some of the best, if not the best Mexican food in all of Las Vegas. Mundo, however, is not your typical combination “rice and beans” Mexican restaurant. This is “Latin-Chic” cuisine with a menu that “honors the long and flavorful history of Mexican Cuisine.” Mundo features steak and seafood dishes with latin twists and a chilean sea-bass dish that will make you fall in love. Don’t worry, yes they have tacos. Its décor celebrates Old World Mexico and the glam of Las Vegas. You will be welcomed by warm shades of brown, romantic hanging lanterns imported from Mexico City, and bright splashes of turquoise. Mundo has it all. Amazing food, unbelievable decor, and delicious hand-crafted cocktails.  Skip the wine and order some of their margaritas or Palomas. You will not be disappointed and neither will your date. 495 S. Sweets Raku

Sweets Raku is one of the most unique eateries in the city. Not because of its all white chic decor or cool name, but because it only serves dessert. AMAZING DESSERT! If you want to impress your date and have an unforgettable culinary experience, you need to skip the dessert during dinner and speed (safely, with a seatbelt) over to Sweets Raku. They feature hand-crafted Japanese desserts that are truly works of art. You can choose from a 3 course prix-fixe menu or a variety of seasonal a la carte choices. They also have additional wine pairings and beer by request. If you’re really trying to go over the top, you can order the cheese plate with honeycomb honey, whipped bleu cheese, wedges of mozzarella and dipping sticks that melt in your mouth. Sweets Raku will have you and your date talking about the entire experience for time to come. 5040 Spring Mountain Road 702.290.7181

Who needs dinner when you can just have dessert? GSS Bake Shoppe bakes up phenomenal sweet creations paired with wine or champagne. Don’t worry, guys. They also have a pretty impressive craft beer selection for pairings as well. Choose from cupcakes, fresh cookies, brownies, naked cakes (yes, I said naked), cake pops, brownies, custom desserts, and even an assortment of large macarons. Their macarons come in flavors such as Peach Bellini, Birthday Cake, Fig & Goat Cheese, Snickers, & Doritos (yes, as in the chip). This is the perfect spot for a cute date-night and indulge in out-of-this world temptations. 19 S Stephanie Street Ste 160 702.882.2537
