With all the tourists that crowd the Strip, locals always need a little love. Enter Unlokt.com. This website, which went live in May, aims to empower locals and business owners by providing a comprehensive directory of listings and events, all off the Strip. But the best part is the listings are all based on locals’ recommendations.
“Most people don’t realize how many awesome spots there are off the Strip,” co-founder Alexandra Lourdes says. “Even locals didn’t leave their own neighborhood.”
With more improvements on the way, the current website and app allows you to follow listings and add notes about a location. Currently there are 150 businesses registered on the site, including restaurants, coffee shops, hair salons and more
